Sew Crazy – Sew Crazy!
Collect the Sew Crazy Quilt blocks throughout 2021! Each month a new 9 block section will be available, along with detailed instructions to make the blocks. You can also make the entire block in one hooping if you have a large enough hoop! You will will also get instructions to make a little project each month. All of the blocks are made in the hoop with batting and stippling.
The September download includes:
- 5″ x 7″ Sew Crazy Centerpiece, Borders, and Corners
- 11″ x 13″ Sew Crazy Centerpiece
- 5″ x 7″ Sew Crazy Needle Book (Front and Inside Covers, Pockets, and 3 Pages)
- Instructions to make a darling needle book that measures 3¼” x 4” (Closed) and 6½” x 4” (Open) when finished.
Instructions to finish the Sew Crazy Quilt will be included in the December 2021 download. The Sew Crazy Quilt will measure 39″ x 44″ when finished.
Hoop Sizes: 5×7 and 11×13 (The large design measures 12.06″ x 10.06″ (255.21 mm x 306.17 mm). Please note: HUS and JEF formats do not include the 11″ x 13″ blocks.
I’ve used Soft Loft Fusible Stabilizer to make the large (11×13) blocks in this quilt. You can find it here. I also used it to make the Needle Book Cover. You can use polyester or wool felt for the needle book pages. Prairie Woolens has some pretty wool felt colors, and you can buy pieces big enough to hoop!
